You will see one of the plaques indicating that Perth is twinned with Aschaffenburg. Aschaffenburg has a population of 70,000, it stands on both sides of the River Main in Bavaria in south-west Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is evidence of inhabitation in that area during the Stone Age.
